CAMP DIRECTOR:
BOBBIE SCHULTZ received advanced degrees in both Educational Administration and Physical Education from Glassboro
State College, NJ. In her 32 year hockey coaching position at Shawnee High School, her teams compiled a 478-65-74 record,
including 16 league championships, 14 South Jersey Group IV sectional championships, and 10 state championships. Ms. Schultz
was selected by The Courier Post as the Field Hockey Coach of the Century, as well as, 1977, 1980 and 1989 Burlington County
Times Coach of the Year, 1983 All South Jersey Coach of the Year and 1988 Philadelphia Inquirer Coach of the Year. Bobbie
was inducted into the National FHCA Hall of Fame in 2007.

JEAN PHELPS received her Masters’ degrees in Educational
Administration and Physical Education & Health from Rowan
University. Jean accumulated over 266 wins in twenty years
coaching varsity hockey at Gateway Regional High School. As
Director of Athletics at Gateway for thirteen years, Jean has served
various functions for the New Jersey State Athletic Association. Her
2001 team won the Group I South Jersey Sectional Championship
and Jean was the recipient of the Field Hockey Club of South
Jersey, and Courier Post “Coach of the Year Award” as well as the
“Sportsmanship Award.” |

LAURIE ROURKE (Team Building Coordinator) is a 1983 graduate of East Stroudsburg State College
where she received her Bachelor’s of Science degree
and is certified in K-12 Physical Education and Health.
Laurie has taught in the Medford Township School
system since 1984 and is currently teaching Physical
Education at Medford Memorial School since 1988.
She is the head coach of their middle school field
hockey program since its start in 1992 and has a
220-14-29 record with 15 division titles. |
